Generational Awadhi Artistry
The Noor-e-Zeenat ensemble represents over 85 artisan hours of handwork. The silhouette is drafted using Mughal courtyard geometric symmetry, featuring a tailored A-line hem that complements the tapering gathers of the churidar bottoms.
Each mehraab motif on the yoke is hand-traced and filled using real metal wire dabka, micro-beads, and gold tilla threads, creating a three-dimensional luster that radiates in evening candlelit banquet settings.
Handloom Chanderi & Testing Protocol
Woven on traditional pit-looms in Madhya Pradesh using unprocessed mulberry warp and gossamer silk weft. The zari borders are woven with tested metallic electroplated yarns that resist tarnishing for decades.
Inner lining: Pure breathable modal mulmul that keeps the wearer comfortable in tropical festivities as well as formal air-conditioned ballroom receptions.
The 60-Chur Gathering Bottoms
Unlike mass-produced salwars, Riwayat churidars are cut on a true 45-degree bias. This allows the fabric to stretch naturally over the knee while sitting and snap back into sculpted gathers around the lower leg.
Every set includes 2 inches of concealed seam allowance on the kurta sides and a tailored drawstring closure with soft cotton loops for maximum comfort.
Heirloom Preservation Guide
