Every creation dispatched from our New Delhi atelier is treated as an irreplaceable heirloom. We partner exclusively with tier-one express couriers (Blue Dart for domestic Indian addresses, and DHL Express for international shipments).
All shipments are 100% insured against loss or transit damage until verified signature receipt by the patron.
Because each Riwayat garment requires dozens of artisan hours to hand-weave and tailor, our exchange policy reflects our commitment to perfection while preserving the value of artisan labor:
Standard size garments in pristine, unworn condition with Silk Mark tags attached may be returned for exchange or boutique credit within 14 days of delivery.
Garments crafted to custom measurements cannot be refunded once cutting commences. However, we provide a 14-Day Complimentary Alteration Guarantee. If your garment does not sit flawlessly, our atelier will adjust it free of charge, or reimburse a local tailor up to ₹1,500 / $30 upon receipt of an invoice.
Every piece bearing the Riwayat seal is guaranteed to be handcrafted in natural mulberry silk, pure tussar, or katan brocade. We provide an individually numbered certificate of handloom origin with every bridal and festive suit.
Should any independent laboratory find synthetic polyester or artificial zari in a Riwayat heirloom, we offer a 100% immediate refund plus a complimentary replacement ensemble.
Riwayat treats all patron data—including measurements, event dates, and personal residences—with strict confidentiality. We never sell, lease, or monetize your contact records. All financial transactions are processed over encrypted 256-bit TLS connections through RBI-approved gateways.
